The My Life Story writers

My Life Story is a small, family business based in the Cotswold market town of Stroud, incorporating Barbara Acock and her two daughters, Rose Acock MBE and Charlotte Goodworth.

Since 1999 Charlotte Goodworth has worked in magazine publishing and corporate communications. She has written for, designed and edited numerous glossy titles, including being the editor of the celebrity monthly, TV Hits, and the launch editor of Cotswold Style. She is adept at carefully crafting books and magazines, ensuring they look professional and are written with accuracy and flair.

Barbara Acock is the chief proofreader within the team, able to spot a typo from a hundred paces. She is also a good listener and skilled at getting the best out of the people she interviews.

Rose Acock set up a development organisation in rural China, for which she was awarded the MBE, and her business acumen and organisational skills ensure My Life Story is run efficiently, and that the process is simple and straightforward for all involved.
